BenShot Musket Ball Rocks Glass

CHERRY BOUNCE

INGREDIENTS

1 lb pitted tart/sour cherries
1 cup sugar
3 cups brand, cognac, or whiskey
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 whole cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg

DIRECTIONS

1. In a quart jar, combine cherries and sugar. Top with alcohol, leaving 1 in. of space. Cover jar tightly with a lid and shake.
2. Place jar in a cool, dark place for a minimum of 3 months, mature up to a year. Shake occasionally. 
3. To serve, strain cherries out. Then pour over an ice-filled BenShot Rocks Glass.
